KALDET HJEM

appendicitis last fall and one just recently which her friends and neighbors had understood was not a serious one and
altho she had not stood it as weli as had been expected and was very ill for a time afterward, it was that she was
recovering nicely, when the sad news arrived that she was not expected to live.
Even her own children were not aware of her serious condition and her death has been a great shock to all who knew her.
Mrs.Jensen came to Joplin with her husband and family in 1910. She was a kind and loving mother, friend, and neighbor;
well, beloved by all who knew her and her absence will be greatly felt in the neighborhood.

The casket of a beautiful richly brocaded grey satin with silver mountings, was hidden from view by the lovely flowers, consisting

They were banked from the floor high above the casket and were formed into emblems, wreaths, and large bouquets in one
gorgeous, glorious mass, all telling their part of the sad,but beautiful story of the many, many friends and loved ones
who were so anxious to perform some last rite for one they had held in so high esteem.
The Ladies Aid, of which Mrs. Jensen had been a faithful worker for many years past, selected six honorary pallbearers,
who marched behind the mourners and helped to perform the last sad rites. The names of these were: Mrs.Lewis
Bilden, Mrs. Nels Groven, Mrs.Simon Anderson.Mrs.M.P.Bakke. Mrs.L.G.Freeland, and Mrs.Edd Anderson.
