Engeline M. Francis RACINE Engeline M. (nee: Jensen) Francis, 93, passed away
at the Lutheran Home for the Ag-ing, Milwaukee, Saturday, March11,2000
Engeline was born in Albert Lee, Minn., on August 1, 1906. Sh was united in marriage
to Wesley J. Francis in 1941. She was employed as a teller at the American Bank, which
is now M&I Bank. She was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church, and she did
volunteer work as a Pink Lady in the cast clinic at St. Luke's Hospital.
Engeline is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn (Ralph) Leach of Racine;
twogranddaughters, Shelly (Eric)Esson of Milwaukee, and Debra Graf of Minneapolis,
Minn. She is further survived by other rela- tives and friends. She was preceded in
death by her husband Wesley in 1998. vices will take place at Hanson Funeral Home
on Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at 4: 30 p.m. with Rev. Mary Janz of ficiating.
Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday afternoon from 3: 30 p.m.until time of services at
the funeral home. Memorials to The
American Heart Association have been suggested
