  William "Bill" Charles Robertson was born on January 20, 1935,  in  Annandale, MN, to Harry and Alice Aldrich Robertson.  He graduated from Buffalo High School in 1953 and served in the U.S. Army from 1955 until 1957.   On June 13, 1959, Bill was united in marriage to Patricia Kowalke at St. John's Lutheran Church in Buffalo, Minnesota.   He worked for Peterson - Benson Hardware and Dairy Supply where he installed milking equipment.  After 1960 he farmed and worked as a John Deere Technician until 1967.  He continued farming and moved to Watkins in 1974 where he started hauling milk and grain.  He retired from trucking in 2002 but continued to farm.  William was a member of St. Matthew's United Church of Christ in Forest City.  He was active in the Forest City Thrashers, the Olivers Club and local politics.  He enjoyed antique tractors, snowmobiling, woodworking, tinkering, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. William is survived by his wife Pat of Watkins; children Terry Joy Robertson of Lusby, MD, Debbie Ralph Donnay of Albany, MN, Danita John Piepenberg of Litchfield and Amy Robertson of Watkins; grandchildren Thomas, Jaime, Kelsey, Jacob, Steven, Michael, Benjamin, Kristina, Kimberly, Ashly, Molly and Kayla; greatgrandson Jason Harvey Schlangen; brothers Wes Verna of Cokato and Jim Connie of Jacksonville, FL; and sister Harriet Bill Rothlisberger of Albuquerque, NM.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
